As one revolutionary innovation after another burst onto the athletic footwear scene in the late 1980s, a common thread linked each respective company's technological achievements. Optimized performance on a individual level.
In 1991, Puma debuted the concept that these innovations seemed to be collectively striving towards, the laceless sneaker. The idea was simple enough; combine a precise, customizable fit with existing performance technology, for maximum individual performance. In practice though, the laceless shoe proved elusive until Puma introduced the Disc system, which allowed the wearer to adjust the shoe with a simple turn of a disc, which would pull on a series of wires and tighten the fit.
This 30th anniversary reissue features a mesh/suede upper construction and signature Trinomic cushioning, in an original white. teal blue and neon yellow colorway.
