Founded in 1948 by Rudolf Dassler, Puma has grown to be a worldwide footwear empire that has stood the test of time, cementing its position at the table of old-school footwear giants still influencing modern culture.

Although starting strictly as an athletic footwear brand, mainly for the football pitch, Dassler's eye for design could not be kept off the streets for long, and in addition to success on the track and hard top, fan favorites like the Suede Classic, Clyde, and Roma will go down as some of the most legendary casual silhouettes ever made - and are still quite common to see on the street thank you very much. But apart from its long history and consistent output, what keeps Puma exciting is its ability to adapt and innovate, a process we'll never get tired of seeing.

A terrace legend from our archives returns: The Palermo. The silhouette debuted back in the early '80s, where it quickly became a staple among the terrace crowds in British soccer stadiums. Now Puma has brought it back for the fans. Like the original, the Palermo is complete with its signature tag at the upper, a T-toe construction, and, of course, the classic gum sole.
