Earlier this year Puma introduced its Made in Japan collection, offering material upgrades and Japanese craftsmanship to its iconic Suede VTG.

Now the series returns, this time with a focus on "Sashiko" stitching. Translating to "little stabs," this tradition form of decorative and reenforced stitching and embroidery dates all the way back to the Japan's Udo period and has historically featured geometric shapes.

Available in “Intense Blue” and “Vaporous Grey,” the newest release of the Puma Suede boats high-quality suede uppers and shorter vamp. The shoe's tongue uses a raw-edge design while the traditional logos have been swapped out for metallic gold PUMA text. The "sashiko" stitch is especially highlighted on the navy side stripes which feature a textured background with white embroidery. The words "Made in Japan" are printed in gold foil on the heel
