The theme for nonnative's most recent collection is New Zealand-inspired gear. This DUNEDIN SOUND tee refers to refers to the music scene in the southern New Zealand city, Dunedin, in the 1980s. The Dunedin Sound was a new wave of well, new wave, punk, pop and psychedelic rock, from bands like The Chills, the Dead C, Alastair Galbraith, and the Renderers that eventually inspired Pavement, R.E.M., and Mudhoney.
