Featuring a design that has endured the test of time through its unwavering authenticity - no matter how many trips it’s taken over the years - the 574 is a sneaker we've always been inspired by.
Paying respect to the original release back in 1988 and the influence it had on the emerging lifestyle category, the Legacy is meant to evoke the feeling of discovering a new old stock pairs from the initial late 80s run, something that becomes immediately clear in its shape, material and overall execution as soon as you try on a pair.
From hits of reflective 3M on the ‘N’ & heel to the gray encap & midsole, there are many nods to OG pairs which highlight the model’s classic style. But it’s our period correct tweaks that allow us to leave our mark and add our own chapter to the legacy of the 574. The black gel outsole references the black sole found on originals while a perforated panel helps break up the tongue. The late 80’s/early 90’s athleticwear inspired woven label looks like it could have been used on a first wave pair. And of course there’s the hairy suede and mesh uppers in primary yellow and blue, which perfectly emphasize the textures at play.
