Salomon's roots in outdoor sports go all the way back to 1947, when the fledging company adapted their metalworking equipment to make edges and binding for skis. Salomon's interest in adventure sports expanded into areas like snowboarding, climbing, and hiking. In 2001, Salomon introduced their first trail running shoe, kickstarting the brand's current status as a preeminent name in trail running performance footwear.
Originally launched in 2013, the XT-6 ADV is the preferred footwear of world-class athletes for ultra-distance races under harsh conditions. It now returns with updated colors and materials, but the same level of cushioning, durability and descent-control.
