x WTAPS 1460
To say that the 1460 is no stranger to military accoutrements would be an understatement. It would probably take NASA level mathematical resources to calculate the exact number of combat trousers, air force parkas, camouflage jackets, and so on, that the iconic Dr. Martens boot style has been paired with over the years.
The latest installment in the 1460's 60th anniversary collaborative series maximizes this relationship, by making part of the 1460's own construction, as cult favorite Japanese imprint WTAPS apply their renowned modern tinged military/utilitarian aesthetic to the 1460.
The classic smooth, black leather upper is outfitted with an array of modern, utilitarian features, in the form of easy on/off buckle fastening, nylon webbing, and an elastic strap. WTAPS puts their stamp, literally, on a heavy duty fixture of certain 1460 models, with a toebox cut out allowing for full visibility of an antique silver steel toe cap, stamped with WTAPS lettering. Tonal welt stitching and a debossed application of the WTAPS Tokyo retail location finish off a thoroughly modern and thoroughy heavy duty take on the 1460.
If a size is not litsted, it is sold out.
