White Mountaineering blurs the solid lines between the artifical categories of "lifestyle" and "performance" with the notion that style, comfort and performance are not competing opposites, but a series of qualities, in a state of constantly leveling fluidity.

A new collaborative effort between Saucony and White Mountaineering applies this sensibility to the early millenial style of the Grid Web. A dynamic, speedy design featuring a mesh upper and distinctive 'web' TPU overlays, the Grid Web represented a streamlined departure from the chunkier tech running designs favored since the late '80s. White Mountaineering's take on the Grid Web combines its original, Y2K aura and utilitarian influences, with a neutral, tan base with vibrant purple, and orange accents, and subtle co-branding text.
