A circa 2003 runner inspired by the aggressive design of high performance racing motorcycles, the GEL-1090 cuts an especially sleek figure amongst its peers. This formerly hidden gem has made a welcome return to the ASICS line-up in recent years. 

A collaborative release with Seoul streetwear label Andersson Bell draws on the shoe's high speed inspirations, and adds their own functional chic Scandinavian minimalist aesthetic leanings into the mix. The result sees the existing dynamic look of the GEL-1090 bolstered with customizable, mountaineering boot derived bungee cord lacing. The outdoors are further represented by metallic elements and deep colors inspired by the atmospheres of Jupiter and Mars.
