The On story began back in 2010 when three-time world duathlon champion and multiple Ironman winner Olivier Bernhard joined together with two friends to create the best and most comfortable running shoe on the market. The Cloudultra is built with a double-stacked helping of On's signature CouldTec cushioning, and features an innovative addition to the standard lacing set up. FlipRelease technology, which can be toggled on and off by the wearer, relieves excess pressure built up by the foot swelling that naturally occurs during long distance running.
