2020 marks the 40th anniversary of The Empire Strikes Back. To help celebrate the momentous occasion, the adidas x Star Wars range of product fires up the cloud car, and outfits the appropriately futuristic NMD R1 V2 silhouette in the livery of Lando Calrissian. 

The layered, multi-piece upper is outfitted in a 'sky tint' blue and black colorway, taken from Lando's suave, administrator of Cloud City outfit. A black leather lacing structure features a debossed pattern, and metallic gold accents and 'Star Wars' logo lace jewels are glitz befitting the smuggling, gambling, playboy friend of Han Solo himself. The design is rounded out with an old school style, portrait tongue logo. Just make sure once you have these, you don't turn them over to Darth Vader and Boba Fett to be frozen in carbonite.
