RECYCLED KIMONO
RECYCLED KIMONO
-
As a fixture of garments sourced from the era of or commemorating the Southeast Asian theatre of conflict, the dragon is regularly represented in the military surplus arena. As a thousands year old symbol of spirituality and wisdom, the dragon speaks to Maharishi's philosophically pacifist leanings. The eternally popular dragon motif touches down on both sides of Maharishi's dualistic aesthetic.
This kimono has been constructed in an eco-conscious fleece, made from 100% post-consumer materials. Collar trims, chest pockets and reinforced elbow panels are finished in a Japanese made flight nylon, with contemporary buckle fastenings, zipped pockets and carry straps adding further functionality.
