JUVENTUS ZX 6000
Back in 2008, adidas debuted the original A-ZX series. The project pushed the boundaries of what the evolving field of special release product could achieve, with a comprehensive trip through the legendary range of ZX running shoes that paired a collaborative partner with the corresponding letter of the alphabet. (Incidentally, the ‘B’ in the original A-ZX was represented by a fondly remembered Bodega ZX 8000.)
A-ZX makes a triumphant return in 2020, with another deep dive into the ZX archive. This time around, instead of collaborative partners, each letter of the alphabet represents a different, conceptual tribute to the high tech running footwear that represented the era’s pinnacle of athletic performance.
'J' is for Juventus. If you have the slightest inkling of a soccer background, that should be enough said, but just for fun, it couldn't hurt to expound further. The black and white stripes of La Vecchia Signora are synonymous not just with winning but with imperious, historical dominance. Names like Charles, Altafini, Zoff, Platini, Vialli, Zidane, Nedved, Buffon and Ronaldo are just a handful of the immortals that have passed through the club's doors.
The Juventus ZX 6000 takes its cues from the club's iconic livery, with an assist from Turin's sleek, industrial background, as rich Italian leather comprises the upper, and three stripes branding, with leather lining and the club's modern-day crest at the heel adding an additional touch of class. Orange laces, inspired by the club's new third kit provide a subtle color pop.
If a size is not listed, it is sold out.
