Toying with the idea of creating a design language that’s mixing biomimicry with our beloved ‘90s high-wraps, Plantaris is a bold visual essay inspired by elements found in nature to solve human design challenges.
Working alongside Satisfy® Running, this unique iteration combines distinctive aesthetics and technologies, allowing wearers to venture off the beaten path. Built out of mixed materials, the chassis features a lightweight O MatterTM structure that connects to the silicone-covered titanium wire core stems.
From leveraging a high-wrap dual-lens silhouette with Prizm lens technology to a removable protective nose cone and Unobtainium nose pads that get sticky when wet, Plantaris adapts to any environment. For optimal comfort, the fit has been organically adapted with unique stems that take inspiration from frog feet, a species with a legacy that runs deep within the brand.
