On Saturday, September 4th, Bodega LA hosted a special event —
Jordan Brand Flight Essentials featuring Marquise Miller.
Miller’s partnership with Jordan Brand was a great match — an iconic sports brand and one of Los Angeles’ most beloved multi-hypenetes (ok, non-actor multi-hypenetes) in stylist, designer, and coveted vintage supplier, Marquise Miller.
As one of our first events since the pandemic shut down large gatherings, it proved that our need for human connection hasn’t moved an inch. Bodega played host and provided the venue space for the activation, which started in the afternoon and crept into the night.
Attendees played outdoor games like mini basketball, corn hole, Connect Four, and Jenga. The selector for the occasion, DJ Casanova, supplied exceptional tunes. Fraiche Signatures and My 2 Cents provided some delicious grub.
However, the main event was the makeshift deli counter, a callback to Miller’s time in the service industry that displayed a collection repurposed Jordan brand hoodies that sold out over the course of the day.
