Bodega and Reebok present a capsule of footwear titled "Shanghai Pack" and apparel components to be released exclusively in Shanghai, China at Innersect 2018.
Delving into Reebok’s illustrious footwear archive, Bodega has recontextualized the iconic 90’s running silhouettes Aztrek and Daytona, in addition to reintroducing a model influenced by the same era in the Run-96. Representing Bodega’s take on performance, the apparel nods to the decade as well with a boldly branded nylon tracksuit, fleece pullover, tees, and socks.
Pulling from the urban environment, each shoe has a concrete base utilizing neutrals with surges of 3M reflective for high-visibility and vibrant color to represent the energy present in cities.
Each rendition has components that stay true to the original, while implementing new elements that bring the styles forward into 21st century. The Aztrek sees it’s OG dazzle nylon tongue and mesh vamp wrapped in premium suedes with a 3M mid panel and midsole burst. The Daytona comes in all original materials with a sunset gradient implemented across the upper, a first for the model and the Run-96 gets a bold color treatment with the medial panels set in hairy suede.
