PRMTVO’s influences combine the spiritual practices of their Latin American heritage with the off-beat California culture that surrounds them.
PRMTVO’s influences combine the spiritual practices of their Latin American heritage with the off-beat California culture that surrounds them.
Promoting a higher consciousness and mind expansion through naturally occurring psychotropics, PRMTVO wear their inspiration on their sleeves, designing spaced-out, high-minded graphic tees, hats and accessories that bust open the doors of perception with esoteric, often bewildering text and graphics to a like minded clientele who also partake in the tuning in and turning on.
We first met our far-out friends at Complexcon in 2016. A youthful label, we were struck by PRMTVO’s distinct and elevated vision as they quickly separated themselves from the rest of the streetwear world, carving out their own unique niche that catered to like-minded adventurists on an endless spirit quest. In late 2019, Bodega linked up with the brand once again for some heady collaborative gear to commemorate our time at Miami’s Art Basel.
Today, we are excited to announce another special collaboration with the brand as they help us celebrate 15 years in the game with a limited edition capsule of co-branded tees, hats and homegoods. Screenprinted on a trio of pigment-dyed shirts and embroidered on a cap, PRMTVO employs fresh new frog graphics, inviting you to “Take a Lick.” Referring to one the more bizarre psychedelic practices (that of licking toads), the tagline, strategically doubles as a tribute to a headstrong and stoic existence. A psychedelic swirl of co-branding appears on shirts, slipmats and banket (dare we say a drug rug) while handmade mushroom candles round out the magical, mystical collection.
