Wanting to show the King Indoor in a more casual light, we teamed up with Slow Jamz for a Vinyl and Vino Night that gave people an excuse to get together while celebrating the reissued sneaker and its ability to hang after the game clock hits 90 minutes.

Insulated with an atmosphere of nostalgic hits and serious wines, sure, we wanted to show that the Indoor is a fashionable force to be reckoned with, but we couldn't leave its roots at the door full stop. That's why we brought in custom foosball tables for a little 24-player bracket-style tournament action, paying homage to soccer's influence on the sneaker, in a way that anyone could easily join in on. After a nail-biting display of coordinated knob-turning and a pair of King Indoors on the line, a champion was finally crowned.

But with 10 runners-up prizes awarded throughout the night and food & drink completely sold out by the time we shut things down, it’s fair to say everyone left a winner.
