But it could fall over, that is, if it weren’t for its metal trigger stems.
Cemented in a clear brown plastic base, with throwback Oakley branding engraved in an olive panel and some etching of our own up top, the stems of our BXTRs are held together with a safety pin-like design that is somehow more punk than you'd expect. Creating the focal point of the arm, this mid-section challenges our expectations for what a functioning piece of hardware can be and stays angular through the finish line with a pink padded ear hook.
But what’s the design of our dreams without the colorway to back it up? Featuring an eclectic combination that gives primary colors the night off, it’s all about the connection between the offbeat and the unexpected. Combining vibrant, rich in-between shades of purple and pink with glowing orange edges, it’s like the visor is in the process of blooming, at all times. Complimented by brownish mid-century accents, you might think it difficult to represent BodegaVision through a color palette but if you ask us, it just depends on what lens you're looking through.
