For the first time, Nike and the Black Mamba (Kobe Bryant) have released a shoe that actually emulates the name that it's given. The "Pit Viper" features a classic Kobe VIII in a snake skin (or "Pit Viper") Engineered Mesh upper mixed with purple, green glow, and magenta colors throughout. Even the Kobe logo pays tribute to the reptile aesthetic with snake skin printed around it. The shoe also has a black midsole and mud guard along with a gray outsole and magenta heel cup. The newest Kobe VIII System arrives at select retailers this Saturday October 5th and will be available on a first come first serve basis at Bodega at 11 am EST and online at 2 pm for $140.
