Deluxe has released their second spring/summer line. Founder and Creative Director Hideki "Hue" Kimura takes inspiration from New York City and blends it with Japanese high quality standards and Tokyo street culture. Their motto -- "Street Tailor" -- means to mix the uncompromising, tailored methodology of producing high quality clothing with the conscious edge of functionality and flexibility found in American casual "street" clothing. The
Chapman button down seen here features an array of different quilted patterns with shades of green, blue, yellow, and red. It's made from 100% cotton and includes chambray materials, contrast stitching and a unique, lightweight quilted feel. Among our other Deluxe arrivals we have the Derby Stadium Jacket (shown in our
Finding the Fit blog post). The jacket features a black button up front closure, cream sleeves, contrast stitching, and ribbed collar and waist band. The interior is a light blue chambray and offers ample storage space for business cards, pens, phones, etc. The Deluxe branding appears on the left chest with a cream colored 'D' patch and also above the waist band with the classic 'street tailor' label.
