  • As a fixture of garments sourced from the era of or commemorating the Southeast Asian theatre of conflict, the dragon is regularly represented in the military surplus arena. As a thousands year old symbol of spirituality and wisdom, the dragon speaks to Maharishi's philosophically pacifist leanings. The eternally popular dragon motif touches down on both sides of Maharishi's dualistic aesthetic.

This waist bag features two vintage military surplus patches acquired from a cache found by the MAHAPATCHCO. Two large front utility pockets, zipped main compartment and double tie straps to keep the bag secure when worn on the waist or shoulder.

It is constructed in Broken Arrow Powerloom, inspired by the cotton fabric weaving arts shared by indigenous Americans and the indigenous peoples of the Central Highlands of Vietnam. A broken arrow symbol can be found hidden in the the powerloom pattern, widely used as a symbol of peace.
