Ah, the '90s. Arsenal were still boring, Leeds had won a title that decade, Newcastle won admirers up and down the country thanks to their attacking play, and the wealthiest people associated with Man City were Liam and Noel Gallagher. Obviously, quite a few things have changed since then. One thing that hasn't is that the acrylic, jacquard incarnation of the on field kit makes for the most attractive transition to the world of fashion. Some upgrades to the Bodega version are that you get to support your local Bodega instead of giving a multi million dollar multinational corporate entity free advertising, and that you didn't pay extra to get the name and number on the back of a player who jumped ship to your most hated rivals for an extra thousand pounds after one season.
