SERIES by Bodega: Repurposed - New Era Archivist

New Era started making baseball caps around the time Babe Ruth called his shot, but it was a 1979 ad in the Sporting News that changed American fashion forever. As New Era’s brand historian, Jim Wannemacher can hold court on everything New Era, from the construction of those first, fitted pro style, sold to the general public hats, to Spike Lee’s custom requests. There’s no better person to explain how and why New Era caps are the starting point for the whole Repurposed project.
