Using nanotechnology, Liquiproof creates an invisible superhydrophobic coating that repels just about anything your feet could encounter. It bonds SiO2 particles to the individual fibers of the fabric at a nanometer level, roughly 500 times thinner than a human hair. These billions of silica particles create permanent bonded layers which form the invisible barrier that makes water and oil unable to touch the fibers of the fabric. Everything from mud to ketchup to an ice cream sunday will slide right off, leaving your kicks dry and free from stains. Not only does Liquiproof actually work, the coating doesn't leave residue behind so once it's dried your shoes will be just as flexible and breathable as they were prior to use. You won't even know Liquiproof is there.
Liquiproof will liquid-proof just about every material out there but if you still need us to confirm your quandaries, here's a list of materials it's guaranteed to work on: Suede, Nubuck, Leather, Nylon, Canvas, Cloth, Synthetics, Cotton, Mesh, Satin, Neoprene, and anything else you can think of.
Applying Liquiproof is easy and only takes a matter of minutes.
Step One - Ensure the surface is clean and free from dust and dirt. We recommend using on brand new items.
Step Two - Spray evenly over the entire surface from a distance of approx. 10-15 cm until surface is damp
Step Three - The spray coating can be gently rubbed into the fibers to ensure it bonds deep into the fabric. We recommend using a clean soft brush.
For best results and to ensure the most effective protection repeat steps 2 and 3 at least twice. Allow 10 minutes before repeating.
Step Four - Allow to dry for at least 24 hours. Once dry, shoes will exhibit water repellent qualities but full protection still requires 24 hours curing time.
