This Thursday [1/31/13] we will be hosting the global launch of the Keith Haring x Reebok Spring 2013 Collection [Classic Leather Lux, Classic Leather Mid, and Classic Leather Clean.] All three shoes will be available in-store at 4pm EST, and online at
bdgastore.com at 8 pm EST. Reebok's latest collaboration marks something unique and exciting, doing a series of shoes in collaboration with the Keith Haring Foundation. The project brings the bold works of Haring to some of the most classic of Reebok silhouettes. Hit the jump for more information and photos.
An extension of Reebok's Affili'Art program, Keith Haring Foundation will join Jean-Michael Basquiat and Ryan McGinness as artist's who all have released collaborative projects under Affili'Art. Using some of Haring's most iconic figures- the antic Everyman, Barking Dog, and Radiant Baby- each shoe mixes materials and unique finishing touches to truly capture the individuality that is portrayed through the work of Keith Haring.
The eye-catching collection features interpretations of the Classic Leather Clean, Classic Leather Lux, and Classic Leather Mid- all of which originally released in the 1980's, the time when Haring's work flourished on the scene.
