The Adidas ZX range spent the better part of the 1980s redefining running footwear functionality and design, resulting in some of the most widely coveted designs ever to sport the three stripes. As 2018 draws to a close, Adidas Consortium kicks off the 30th anniversary celebration of one of these landmark models, the ZX4000, a little bit early.
The ZX4000 is definitely a name on people’s minds, after serving as the basis for the hotly anticipated 4D Futurecraft runner. The Adidas Consortium edition recreates the original, 1989 model that, upon its release, represented a new evolution in running shoe design. Mesh, suede and nylon construction, Torsion technology and a distinctly late 1980s grey and teal colorway make a welcome return to shelves that will excite old fans and new alike.
If a size is not listed, it is sold out.
