The latest collaborative project from Adidas Consortium and Berlin retailers Solebox is all about substance over hype. Drawing on Adidas’ rich legacy of running silhouettes that turned into coveted fashion pieces based purely on the strength of design, this joint effort features two running models, the old-school Quesence and the contemporary PureBoost DPR, interpreted through the lens of Italian craftsmanship, as premium materials outfit a design based on visual cues taken from the historic architecture of Milan.

The retro tech design of the Quesence sports a perforated suede upper accented by nubuck and leather overlays and vegetable tanned detailing, while the contemporary, look of the PureBoost is rendered in a two-tone, circular knit, with nubuck and vegetable tanned detailing adding bold yet refined accents to the minimalist design.
