The Clarks Desert Boot enjoys a well earned reputation for smart, stylistic versatility. A new, collaborative effort between Clarks and Japanese retailer BEAMS expands this versatility to include the functional, with a seasonal, weatherproofed interpretation of the silhouette.
Not surprisingly, the Desert Boot was not necessarily equipped for non-desert weather patterns, a situation rectified with the Desert Rock. The Desert Rock GTX is a resurrection of a 90s desert boot spin off that outfits the classic suede of the original desert boot with Gore-Tex lining, for keeping unwanted intrusions by rain, snow and roadside slush at bay, along with a heavy duty, rubberized Vibram sole, in place of the classic crepe, for keeping solid footing on the treacherous surfaces of winter.
