2018 may be drawing to a close, but Nike’s All Conditions Gear label hasn’t finished for the year just yet. There’s still one more drop to go from the revolutionary technically minded, fashion forward outdoor imprint, and it’s a big one: the final collaborative collection from Acronym designer Errolson Hugh.
The cutting edge functionality that make every individual Acronym piece an adaptive, multi faceted response to the user’s surroundings is focused entirely on one goal for the Holiday 2018 ACG collection. The individual components of the collection combine to provide an intermeshed system of complete winter weather coverage, protection that literally lives up to the “all conditions” name.
ACG staple pieces like the 3L Gore-Tex coat and Deploy Cargo Pants have been refined with evolving technology; a perennial favorite poncho silhouette has been reinterpreted for winter, as a modular, 3-in-1 garment, while new introductions like a women’s cargo pant and a men’s down parka equipped with a 3-way collar and detachable hood. To further the concept of modularity, liners and insulation from previous ACG seasons are compatible with pieces from the latest collection.
The technical outerwear pieces are complimented by accessories and basics, including a vest, water-resistant beanie, touch screen gloves and Sherpa fleece hoodies and pants.
