Normally, we would say that the Jordan 3 is a familiar silhouette; it is one of the most enduringly beloved Jordan signature models ever, after all. This time, it's just a little bit different though. Imbued with the experimental spirit that informed the 1 Reimagined collection, the Jordan 3 Retro Explorer Lite utilizes the appearance of  the traditional upper as something of a shell, from which a ripstop nylon upper with an extended, high top ankle collar emerges from synthetic leather. The radical transformation continues with a lacing system that wraps around the calf, secured with a button clasp, and a size zip for easy, on/off access.
