ULTRABOOST 19 CONSORTIUM
The Ultraboost may have established itself as a fashion favorite, almost from the moment it was unleashed, but first and foremost, the Ultraboost is a performance running shoe. That means standing still isn’t an option. A new year brings an updated, reimagined version of the beloved Ultraboost design. Like all the people going through their stuff trying to decide what sparks joy, the Ultraboost is simplifying for 2019, with the 17 piece design of the original trimmed down to 4 components.
A one piece, Primeknit 360 upper sits atop a Boost cushioned midsole. The new model not only features 20% more Boost material, but is augmented by a new, energy-returning Torsion Spring system, while a 3D molded heel counter cradles the foot on impact and allows for a range of Achilles movement.
For Spring 2019, the Adidas Consortium imprint cements the Ultraboost's place in the pantheon of legendary three stripes running models, with colorways inspired by legendary, archival silhouettes. A white and green design recalls the original EQT colorway that helped to launch the reaffirmation of performance technology Equipment Range. A dark navy and gold palette is borrowed from the original SL80, which, as the 'Super Light' name implies, broke new ground in terms of overall, light weight construction. Finally, a turquoise and blue dominated design are a nod to the legendary ZX9000.
If a size is not listed, it is sold out.
