The brainchild of designer Hardy Blechman, Maharishi has produced its award-winning pacifist military designs since 1994. The roots of Maharishi, and offshoot label MHI, lay in Blechman’s former career in the military surplus clothing trade, which inspired Blechman to take the concept of repurposing to a new level.
Constructed from a Cupro twill, a silk-like fabric with a soft handle, this camp collar short sleeve shirt features an all-over multicolour Tibetan cloud print by calligraphy master Tashi Mannox and inspired by the Maharishi Fine Tailor Company's expansion into Tibet and Nepal.
Vegetable dyed eco-cupro twill is made in Japan from recovered cotton waste. It handles like silk, but breathes and regulates body temperature like cotton. Sandwashed for a soft finish.
