SUBZERO PLANET X
SUBZERO PLANET X

In 1975, around the time Gates and Jobs were starting technology legacies in their garages, armed with $300 in his pocket, James Jannard was about to revolutionize another industry, out of his. Named after his Irish Setter "Oakley Anne", Oakley started in the BMX and motocross game with grips, pads, goggles and other accessories before hitting their sunglass stride.
Their first pair was made in 1984 and called the Factory Pilot Eyeshades. This was followed by the Oakley Frogskin in 1985. Now at this point, there are very few brands where you could leave off with 'and the rest is history' but, well...if the eyewear fits...
Oakley reintroduces its iconic Sub zero sunglass, 30 years after its initial release in 1992. Originally inspired by the future, Sub Zero's 90s design aesthetic has been revived from the past with Prizm Lens Technology in its unique shield lens design. Unobtainium nose-pads and ear-socks provide no-slip grip in this piece of Oakley history that was designed to weight next to nothing.
