The oldest surviving pair of trousers in the world was found in northwestern China by archeologists. They are over five thousand years old. They also appear to contain a plaid pattern. We thought we would bust that out as evidence of how well travelled plaid really is, because do you really want to hear again about how "both punk and prep subcultures adopted the use of plaid."
We didn't think so either.
