Salomon's roots in outdoor sports go all the way back to 1947, when the fledgling company adapted their metalworking equipment to make edges and binding for skis. Salomon's interest in adventure sports expanded into areas like snowboarding, climbing, and hiking. The unique groove construction of the RX Moc's midsole is designed to offer as little resistance as possible to natural and fluid motion.
