GX1000 began life as a merch-selling side project to support the filmmaking of founder Ryan Garshell. Garshell, along with his partner Stephen McClintlock have since made GX1000 into one of the most respected labels in the skate scene today.

GX1000 partners with the Colorado-born, NYC-living photographer Peter Sutherland for 'Reverb in the Valley' skateboard deck. Heavily involved with skate culture, as well as the more fine arts scene in New York, this collaboration with GX1000 is not only iconic, but truly one that comes from Sutherland's labor of love.
