LVC 1953 TYPE II JACKET
-
For over 150 years Levi's has been setting the tone in the world of modern blue jeans. Starting out as a dry goods store by Levi Strauss in 1853 over in San Francisco, it wasn't until tailor Jacob Davis got the idea to reinforce denim pants with copper rivets did things really get popping.
After establishing a partnership and a subsequent patent in '73 -that's 1873 remember - the duo was off to the races, clothing everyone from cowboys and miners to railroad workers and lumberjacks. And though the clientele has greatly expanded since those early days out West, one thing has stayed virtually the same, the jean that started it all: the Levi's 501. How's that for timeless?- 100% Cotton
