This new model adds an aged finish the full-metal, square design GMW-B5000, and inherits plenty of the DNA of the original G-SHOCK DW-5000C. This distinctive look of this model is created by the metal finish, which takes on the image of a tool that has seen a lot of use over the years. To achieve this look, a black ion-plated (IP) finish is first applied. Then CASIO-original technology is used to remove parts of the finish plating, which creates a realistic aged effect. All the intrinsic beauty of metal with a distinctive aged finish that suits the image of G-SHOCK toughness.
