High end security outfits, for stuff like data centers or prime real estate, wore those vaguely anonymous nylon jackets to dress themselves down. Underneath they were packing seamless Kevlar, ceramic blades, proprietary alloy batons, infrared sensors, basically more technology than most people had in their car.
