CROW PATTERN HAORI
The Crow Pattern Haori from Sasquatchfabrix draws on the garment's circumvention of Edo period sumptuary laws. When an emerging merchant class started accumulating more wealth than the traditional, aristocratic samurai, strict regulations on clothing and displays of wealth were enacted. Haori with ornately decorated lining was the response.
The Sasquatchfabrix take on the haori opts for a more modern, minimalist approach to discrete elegance with a subtly glossy rayon blend.
