Garbstore isn't the first brand to trade in repurposed vintage, and they certainly won’t be the last, but there is a very good reason why the brand stands out in such a crowded field. Garbstore’s garments are set apart by an unparalleled devotion to both the construction and history of their pieces.
The brand calls this blend of vintage materials, historical construction techniques, and contemporary sensibility “unfamiliar vintage.” We think that timeless style and top quality construction make the name a bit beside the point.
The Co-Op Jacket is a shortened version of the original trench which still retains the oversized fit of its origin. The Jacket comes in two variations; one is constructed from Japanese water-resistant Nylon and the second is made from a crisp high-density cotton. It features 4 central patch pockets secured in Danish military style with visible snaps. The left flap hides a separate, smaller welt pocket set into the patch pocket opening in addition to a white waterproof zip on the nylon base and vintage talon zips on the cotton base.
