AIR FORCE 1 '07 PREMIUM
Despite more than 1500 distinctive releases since 1982, Nike Air Force 1 has never featured a release made from selvedge denim… until now.
In collaboration with NYC jean artisans, 3x1, the usually stark sneaker style gets decked out in denim for a limited edition redux. Red stitching provides an added element of contrast just above the midsole while the fabric itself naturally creates an additional textural element to the already stylish offering.
You already know and love your Nikes, but if you’re not familiar with 3x1, the small-scale/large scope jean manufacturers operate their entire company under one roof in SoHo, NYC. Their location, complete with in-house atelier, boasts the largest collection of selvedge denim in the world with over 800 varieties sourced from the world’s rarest and highest quality mills and looms. Creating just 25 pairs a day, these artisans put quality and customization at the forefront of their specialized mission. Everything is made here with the help of their modest 24 person staff, allowing the customer to oversee their customized denim creation from conception to completion.
Take your Canadian Tuxedo one step further and make it a three piece with this rare pair designed by 3x1 founder Scott Morrison crafted with denim sourced from the Kuroki mill in Japan.
