The Old Skool Cap LX is a deconstructed hybrid take on two of the most iconic silhouettes in the Vans catalogue, the Slip-On and the Old Skool. The basic structure combines the the Slip-On's heel collar with the toe cap and tongue of the Old Skool. A double tongue provides extra cushioning, while visually emphasizing the unique, hybrid nature of the design. Raw elements like a raised version of the signature Vans jazz stripe being applied without a bottom seam, held in place by only a small overlay piece, textured suede and deliberately off kilter branding details create a fresh perspective on these familiar favorites.
