A tribute to the University of Michigan's famous 1991 starting lineup, known endearingly as the "Fab Five," this Wolverine team colorway employs the navy and gold team colors with an emphasis on the maize, which was most dominant on the team's away uniforms.

While the "Fab Five" didn't actually wear these shoes, they ALWAYS played in Nikes-- usually the Air Flight Huarache, Air Force Mid, Air Flight Maestro and maybe most famously Nike Air Force Max. 

Though they were only in college, Chris Webber, Jalen Rose, Juwan Howard, Jimmy King and Ray Jackson were one of the most exciting things happening in sports, and their skill, finesse and teamwork quickly made them the unofficial new poster boys of the Nike brand.
