The Air Skylon has a history of being deceptively simple. The original Skylon was the first Nike model to feature Air cushioning units in the forefoot and heel, while the Air Skylon II featured a bold application of gradient colors that turned a standard running shoe of the era into a cult favorite. Fear of God designer Jerry Lorenzo continues in this deceptively simple vein, with a minimalist inspired modernization of the Air Skylon II.
The Skylon’s gradient application gives way to tonal black and black and white colorways, while subtle alterations to the original design, a perforated leather tongue, patent leather Swoosh, Fear of God script, and toggle lacing emphasize the starker, sleeker reworking of the Air Skylon II.
