The brainchild of designer Hardy Blechman, Maharishi has produced its award winning pacifist military designs since 1994.  The roots of Maharishi, and offshoot label MHI, lay in Blechman’s former career in the military surplus clothing trade, which inspired Blechman to take the concept of repurposing to a new level.

Clean socks may not rise to the level of life or death concern that they might during a military march, but it's still a good idea to always have a supply of fresh socks on hand. Maharishi's globetrotting, mix and match aesthetic combines classic argyle with a traditional Mexican inspired pattern.
