IRAK NY
What began as a creative crew of graffiti artists led by teenage runaway, Kunle Martins (aka Earsnot), would in time go on to include some of the world’s most notorious graffiti artists.
Rallying around the namen IRAK, a shortened reference to the street vernacular for shoplifting, members of the group would in time gain the respect of the more conservative (and, well, legal) art worlds. IRAK artists started getting gallery shows, and Earsnot ventured into starting his own label of streetwear. While the IRAK brand would undergo a hiatus, it was relaunched in 2019 to another round of intrigue and acclaim.
