As to be expected from a shoe with 'trek' in the name, the Reebok Aztrek was intended for all-terrain trail use from the get go. Like someone fully kitted out in khaki, plaid, and laden with camping gear and provisions, the Aztrek 96 adventure is extra prepared for a spell in the great outdoors.
The 1996 update of the original Aztrek that saw a chunkier build and more aggressive design take shape is transformed even further. The silhouette is extended almost to hiking boot height, while rugged additions like extra suede overlays, webbing pull tabs at the heel and tongue, a hiking inspired lacing system and reflective detailing are added to Hexalite cushioning and a traction outsole. A palette of earth tones, deep purple and vivid emerald teal makes sure the '96' in Aztrek 96 is well represented.
