As a fixture of garments sourced from the era of or commemorating the Southeast Asian theatre of conflict, the dragon is regularly represented in the military surplus arena. As a thousands year old symbol of spirituality and wisdom, the dragon speaks to Maharishi's philosophically pacifist leanings. The eternally popular dragon motif touches down on both sides of Maharishi's dualistic aesthetic.
Woven in England by one of the last remaining vertical wool mills in the UK, Abraham Moon & Sons were established in 1837 in Guiseley, Yorkshire. Considered as one of the earliest forms of camouflage, tweed wool was adopted for hunting in the early 19th Century for its concealment and hard wearing properties.
